While the series is still in production, key details have been unveiled. Daredevil: Born Again will be exclusively available for streaming on Disney+, consistent with Marvel’s latest content offerings. Originally scheduled for a Spring 2024 release, the series has encountered an indefinite delay due to ongoing strikes.

For Daredevil enthusiasts eager for some action, Episode 8 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, titled “Ribbit and Rip it,” features Matt Murdock’s return and a potential romantic link with Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk.

Confirmed Cast and Crew

The cast for Daredevil: Born Again continues to expand. The series stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, reprising their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively. Joining them is Michael Gandolfini, in an undisclosed role but hailing from Staten Island. Other confirmed cast members include Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, Nikki M. James, and Arty Froushan, the latter described as one of the main characters.

The return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher adds excitement, given his successful portrayal in Daredevil Season 2.

Reboot or Continuation?

Charlie Cox addresses the tonal differences between the Netflix Daredevil and the Marvel Cinematic Universe version. While Daredevil retains core characteristics, the shift in tone from dark and gritty to lighthearted and witty reflects the evolving Marvel universe. Cox emphasizes continuity but allows for fresh perspectives on the character’s journey.

When Is Daredevil: Born Again Filming

Production of Daredevil: Born Again has been disrupted by the ongoing WGA writers’ strike, resulting in a suspension of filming. Initially slated for a February to December 2023 shoot, this delay is an unfortunate consequence of labor disputes.
