The Glittery World of Barbie

The Barbie project was all about research and discoveries, all in an exciting manner that’s what was so delightful, and creating Barbie with a realistic version had lots of unrealistic makeup and hair accessories which throws major Barbie vibes.

The team went through a few different concepts before settling on the one that best sold the Barbie look on screen from giving all the dolls a uniform design to giving a more plasticky look to the actor’s skin. Rooting the idea of the perfect beach costume Gingham Outfit is the first outfit that comes to mind. It surely gives the early 60s.
