The actors of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are all very close, as we’ve seen over the years. And they all appear to admire one another. In fact, Mark Ruffalo recently told a story about Robert Downey Jr. that melted our hearts. Read on to learn more.

Even more than Spider-Man, the Hulk is the character who has been played by the most actors (here I am referring specifically to live-action, not voice performances).

Ruffalo took over the part from Norton in The Avengers (2012). Today, it’s hard to imagine someone else in the role, but the actor wasn’t entirely certain he was the right choice. Director Joss Whedon thought otherwise.Whedon may have helped to boost Ruffalo’s confidence, but it was another MCU star who persuaded him to take the part.

Mark’s and RDJS planned time as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Tony Stark AKA Iron man respectively, came to an end with Avengers: Endgame. We saw the characters finally bring together the two sides of themselves. However, there is always the possibility that they could return to the MCU.

The first time we really saw Tony Stark and Bruce Banner bond was in Avengers: Age of Ultron, when they came together to build what eventually became Vision. While they aren’t mad scientists in real life, they’re still really good friends.

You could imagine the type of chemistry that they had to build to sound scientific enough to create a breathing man.

I really wish to have a friend like Robert Downey Jr. in my life. Do you share a friendship like these two? Let us know in the comments section. For now, watch this beautiful bromance. Enjoy! 🙂
