So apparently Emma Myers and Evie Templeton dancing together was exactly what Wednesday Season 2 needed to reach peak chaos. The Enid-Agnes dance sequence to Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance” at Nevermore’s fundraising gala proves that sometimes the best friendships start with attempted murder and end with synchronized choreography.

Behind the Scenes

Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 dropped September 3, 2025 on Netflix, but the real magic happened during filming when Myers and Templeton had to nail their choreography without actually hearing Lady Gaga’s track. “We were able to listen to the song a few times before we started choreographing. It was challenging because lyrics and music play a significant role in choreography,” Myers revealed to Deadline.

The duo Emma Myers and Evie Templeton worked with choreographer Corey Baker, using a click track with similar tempo since they couldn’t film with the actual song playing. Talk about dancing in the dark—literally. Templeton admitted she was nervous about the final result: “I haven’t watched the final product yet because I’m quite anxious about it, but I know Evie has,” Myers confessed.

Character Chemistry

The Wednesday Season 2 Agnes-Enid dynamic starts with Agnes literally trying to kill Enid to get Wednesday’s attention (casual Tuesday at Nevermore), but evolves into genuine alliance by season’s end. “I love the ‘creature of the night’ segment. I think it’s so cool, especially the way we look at each other,” Templeton noted about their final dance performance.

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for MGM Television and Netflix, the series filmed in Romania with Tim Burton directing. Myers described working with 16-year-old Templeton: “Emma and Jenna were like big sisters to me, guiding me through this experience, as it’s my first significant step into the industry,” Templeton shared.

Agnes Evolution

Wednesday Season 2 introduces Agnes DeMille as Wednesday’s obsessive stalker who gradually becomes a crucial ally. Burton immediately recognized Templeton’s potential: “When I first saw her, it was evident that she was meant for this role, and her casting actually influenced the character’s development,” the director explained.

Templeton’s performance brings depth to what could’ve been a simple antagonist role. “Agnes is now part of the fabric of Nevermore. We will continue to develop relationships with Enid and Wednesday, as well as with other characters in the show,” co-creator Miles Millar confirmed.
