I was scrolling through my streaming apps last week and realized I’m paying for six services but only watching two. November’s releases might actually justify those subscriptions for once.

Watch the brand new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Mandalorian & Grogu preview special (November 14) – Behind-the-scenes look at the theatrical film arriving May 2026. Jon Favreau walks through practical creature effects and reveals Grogu’s expanded role.

Netflix November

Spellbound (November 22) – Animated musical featuring Rachel Zegler and Nicole Kidman about a princess trying to break her parents’ curse. Alan Menken composed original songs.

Mary (November 29) – Anthony Hopkins stars in biblical drama about Jesus’ mother. D.J. Caruso directs this faith-based film that Netflix acquired for $20 million at AFM.

November 2025 delivers significantly stronger streaming content than recent months. The combination of blockbuster sequels, prestige dramas, and holiday programming creates genuine value across multiple platforms.

The shift toward dropping complete seasons simultaneously (rather than weekly episodes) reflects Netflix’s influence on viewing habits. Disney+ and Peacock particularly embraced binge-friendly releases this month.
