Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones who both have birthdays on September 25 shared heartfelt tributes on Instagram on Monday.
Douglas posted a picture of him kissing Zeta-Jones on the forehead out in the lap of nature, captioning it,

Zeta-Jones posted a black-and-white slideshow compiling her husband’s pictures over the years, set on the background of Presley’s hit number, Fever. This video consisted of her husband’s photos as a baby with her late father Kirk Douglas and their pictures as a couple with their children, Dylan, 23, and Carys, 20.

The couple, who will have lived 23 years together in November first met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998. Douglas was there to promote A Perfect Murder and Zeta-Jones was there to promote The Mask of Zorro. At the Jonathan Ross Show in 2016, Douglas disclosed that he witnessed Zeta-Jones playing Elena Montero in the film and asked his staff to have a meeting with her.
I met her in the bar and was a total gentleman,
Douglas said.
He remembered asking the Wednesday star,
By chance do you want to come back and have a nightcap?
When she met him later that night, he said,
You know, I’m going to be the father of your children.
They got engaged in Aspen, Colorado the next year and then welcomed boy Dylan on Aug. 8, 2000, and then had a gorgeous wedding at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The couple was then blessed with a daughter Carys, on Easter Sunday in 2003.
Douglas posted photos from their November 2000 wedding on Instagram on their 22nd wedding anniversary.
