When you work in close quarters with someone, emotions can be inevitable. Will you become frenemies or lovers? Apparently, if you’re a gorgeous superstar, the answer is more likely to be the second one.

Lots of actors engage in brief flings and hookups with their co-stars. They spend a year on a movie set, so it’s easy to get extremely close.

While some get close and then leave to do it all over again, others keep their star-studded relationships going for years at a time and more than a few have even married their former co-workers. The stars of Marvel movies are no exception… but not always. Sometimes, the co-stars are simply just close friends.

When two attractive actors work together and seem friendly off-screen, there are going to be relationship rumors– especially if those two attractive and friendly actors star in one of the biggest superhero franchises in the world.

Rumors had hinted that Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen and Captain America actor Chris Evans were together for years before the two finally addressed the reports during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Olsen and Evans laughed off the idea of the two of them being in a relationship together. The actress noted that they had allegedly been dating for three years and then jokingly claimed that they were actually engaged.

The co-stars joked around some more, saying that they had considered moving in together but that they really don’t even talk to each other when they aren’t performing together.

DeGeneres took the friends at their word, but suggested that they actually consider hooking up for real. Perhaps photos like this one with Evans seemingly staring at Olsen’s cleavage helped to add fuel to the fire, with rumors instantly flying around that they were secretly dating.

Olsen looks great, though, so you can’t really blame him for noticing that his co-star is just totally amazing.
