Disney announces third installment to the Hocus Pocus series!
After the success of Hocus Pocus 2, Disney has announced another installment in the series, less than a year after its release.

What is Hocus Pocus all About?
Hocus Pocus 2, which was released nearly 30 years after its predecessor, is the story of 3 witches in modern day Salem, a town famous for its “witch trials” in the late 17th century where women who were suspected of witchcraft were put on trial and if found guilty, were even hanged.
The film itself broke all records, becoming the 5th most streamed movie on the Disney+ platform with 2.7 billion minutes.
The film reunited some of the original cast members: Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Middler and Kathy Najimy and while Disney will continue to do the same for the third movie as well, others such as Vinessa Shaw, Larry Bagby will not be reprising their roles.
How Good was Original Hocus Pocus?
The original film did not perform well at the box office. However, its fan following reached almost a cult status with its views over the years and prompted the release of the sequel.
In a rare instance in cinema where a sequel does better than the original movie, Disney is now more motivated than ever for another adventure involving the 3 sisters and these veterans of Hollywood and rumored spinoffs after the success of the sequel may be expected.
So for fans of the Salem undead, it seems that their stories are far from over.
