What happens in the finale episode of The Idol

In the last episode, it is seen that Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) is working on her new songs with producer Mike Dean. When Tedros (The Weeknd) tries to interject, it is clear that Jocelyn is done with him and does not want to associate with him at all. She tells him that he is a fucking con man and a fraud”.

At last, Jocelyn works with her new crew and cut ties with Tedros. However in the final moments of the show shows Jocelyn reunited with Tedros, which could mean that Jocelyn was the main mastermind after all. The ending of the show does not give a satisfactory conclusion and leaves the audience rather confused.
