Six years of Love Is Blind have taught us many things: wine-drinking dogs exist, “Megan Fox look-alike” is a personality type, and poultry-forward smoothies are apparently a viable breakfast option. Season 10, Netflix’s milestone installment featuring Ohio singles, has added new entries to this canon including wedding dresses purchased before the pods even open, nail glue medical emergencies, and at least one fiancé who ghosted his bride-to-be for 48 hours. Romance is not dead, but it is definitely on life support.

Love Is Blind: Season 10 | Alex & Ashley | Sneak Peek | Netflix

Seven couples emerged from the pods this season: Emma and Mike, Christine and Vic, Amber and Jordan, Bri and Connor, Brittany and Devo, Ashley and Alex, and Jessica and Chris. Their journeys from “I love you” spoken through a wall to “I do” (or “I don’t”) at the altar have been documented with the kind of intensity usually reserved for nature documentaries about predators. Here’s where they stand now.

Emma and Mike are navigating the treacherous waters of reproductive timing. Mike wants kids yesterday. Emma, who underwent ten surgeries before age seven to remove high-risk birthmarks and has no relationship with her biological parents, isn’t sure she wants to pass down unknown genetic complications. She proposed a compromise—she’d consider motherhood with the right partner—and Mike took that as his opening. His very Italian family cried for two days upon learning about her hesitation. At the altar, Emma said yes, but the question of children remains unresolved, hovering over their marriage like a cloud shaped like a pacifier.

Christine and Vic are the season’s surprisingly stable couple, which in Love Is Blind terms means they haven’t publicly imploded yet. Vic wrote her a PhD-level poem in the pods; she responded with a prayer. They skipped the Mexico group trip for a solo Malibu retreat, which either indicates mature boundary-setting or wise avoidance of production-manufactured drama. Christine’s mom called Vic “hot” upon meeting him, securing maternal approval through the time-honored method of objectification. They appear genuinely smitten, which makes them either the season’s success story or the couple most likely to shock everyone at the reunion.

Amber and Jordan hit their first major snag when Jordan admitted to the guys that he was “scared” about meeting Amber’s seven-year-old daughter, Emma. Amber overheard this and responded with the silent treatment, burying herself under bed covers and briefly suggesting they call off the wedding. Jordan had prepared a gift bag with colored pencils for Emma, which is either sweet or evidence that he has never met a seven-year-old. They hugged it out eventually, but the tension over Emma’s place in their future lingers like the smell of burnt waffles.

Bri and Connor seemed destined for Little League parent glory until Bri’s number two from the pods, Chris, decided to slide into her DMs after ending things with Jessica. At a group outing, drunk Chris told Bri that “submissive” Connor wasn’t right for her and she needed someone “more dominant”—like himself. Bri shut him down, Connor got jealous but claimed to trust her, and Bri started wondering if Connor was “a lesson to learn or the love of my life.” She ultimately decided she wasn’t ready to walk down the aisle, though Connor would have said yes. They’re still together, just not married, which in this show’s economy counts as a happy ending.
