Killers of the Flower Moon gets a nine-minute standing ovation at 76th Cannes Film Festival.

Martin Scorsese’s much-awaited Killers of the Flower Moon has finally got its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The movie has gotten such a big reaction from the audience at the festival. Films stars Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Lily Gladstone. Scorsese was super moved by the response of the audience and said “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced like this.”

Martin Scorsese was seen with the star cast of the movie at the premiere. De Niro usually gets seen with the director in such festivals.

In his interaction with the audience, the director said “It’s taken its time to come around, but Apple did so great by us, shooting out there … there was lots of grass — I’m a New Yorker, he said. “We also lived in that world with the Osage, we did, and we miss it.”

Killers of the Flower Moon was Reviewed as the Best Work of Leo

The movie is 3 hours and 26 minutes long and got the heartiest cheers from the audience at the festival. The screening of the movie at the festival got delayed 40 minutes later than scheduled inside the Grande Theatre Lumiere.

The film was also praised early, and it even got limelight to be called “Leonard DiCaprio’s best performance yet.” Killers of the Flower Moon will be theatrically opening in October through Paramount Pictures, which will later be replaced to streaming globally on Apple TV+.
