Hannah Montana star cast Mitchel Musso was arrested on charges of public intoxication and theft. He was seen getting involved in a heated argument on Saturday.

Musso, popular for his role as Oliver Oken on the Disney Channel sitcom, was detained by the police in Rockwall, Texas on Saturday night, after someone reported a disturbance at a local hotel, as stated by a press release from the Rockwall Police Department.

When the police reached the spot, they found the 32-year-old actor, intoxicated, who allegedly tried to enter the hotel and take away a bag of chips without paying for the item. When Musso was asked to pay, he impulsively became verbally abusive and left without paying.

Musso was identified by Rockwall police outside the hotel, where we exhibited signs of intoxication and theft of around $100. A background check also revealed that Musso had several outstanding traffic warrants.

However, this isn’t the first time the Disney actor had an altercation with the police. In 2011, he was allegedly arrested for driving under the influence in California at the age of 20. The actor had a blood alcohol content well over the legal limit of 0.8%.

Mitchell was taken away to the Rockwall County Detention Center and spent that night in jail.

He was released Sunday afternoon after posting a $1,000 bond.

Musso‘s representatives were asked to comment on the issue.

Musso starred in Hannah Montana alongside Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, and Jason Earles from 2006- 2011. On the show’s 10th anniversary, Musso celebrated the sitcom and his love for his former cast with an online tribute.

When I think of family, I think of you girls. Thanks for always having my back.
