The 58-year-old actress added that despite Carrie’s concern with clothing and shoes, she was rarely seen worrying about her nails. She has returned to her role as the neurotic love columnist in the “SATC” spin-off comedy “And Just Like That.”

She told Glamour magazine: “Carrie is a writer, so she would have been typing originally on a proper typewriter.”

”She would have learned typing in high school, and she was a practical writer and a necessary writer and a romantic writer.”

She Proceeds To Divulge Further Information

The “SATC” star said that Carrie didn’t need manicures because they “seemed (a) futile because it would always be messed up and (b) an obstacle on the speedy road toward thoughts being written,” according to the actress.

Sarah said that Carrie wasn’t given varied nail polish colors for consistency concerns.

She said: “We also don’t shoot in order. You’re moving from scene to scene, so practically speaking, it’s problematic to have a nail colour that’s got to match every single scene. It gets in the way of speed and economy.”

But Sarah acknowledged that Carrie will flaunt black nail lacquer in the upcoming second season of HBO’s “AJLT.”

She says “I thought it would be interesting to do, given the outfits and given the environment in which those scenes take place.”

Michael Patrick King, the show’s executive producer, told Glamour that he was surprised to find Sarah on set while filming in Brooklyn with bright nails.
