We do, however, occasionally catch a peek of their relationship, and it never fails to make us swoon. On social media, Mendes just sent a shout-out to her boyfriend, and it might be the cutest thing we’ve seen all day.
Eva Mendes to Shower Appraisals for Ryan
Mendes just shared a new clip from the movie along with some lines from Greta Gerwig’s most recent Rolling Stone feature, showering Gosling with love and admiration for his performance in the upcoming movie Barbie. Photos of the pair from the 2012 movie The Place Beyond the Pines were posted with the description, “To say he’s the greatest actor I’ve ever worked with is an understatement,” by Mendes.
Rarely are Mendes’ heartfelt odes to Ryan Gosling so overt. Mendes had hitherto been rather understated in her acknowledgements of her relationship. But these two posts amply demonstrate both how much Mendes admires Gosling’s work and talent in addition to how much she likes him.
On the set of the 2012 movie The Place Beyond the Pines, Gosling and Mendes first connected, and they have been essentially dating ever since. Gosling and Mendes kept their two kids, who were born in 2014 and 2016 respectively, hidden from prying eyes of the public.
These two priceless postings demonstrate to us that the friendship between Mendes and Gosling is still as strong as it was when they first started dating after all these years.
