Superman: Legacy: Three New Members Added to The Cast

Superman: Legacy is an upcoming DC movie directed by James Gunn, and it will mark the rebirth of the live-action DC Universe.

Recently, three new actors have been added to the Superman: Legacy cast who will play superheroes having a long history in comic books. Edi Gathegi will be playing the role of Mister Terrific, Isabela Merced will be playing the character of Hawkgirl, and Nathan Fillion will be cast as one of the Green Lanterns possibly as Guy Gardner.

All about the characters of the new cast members of Superman: Legacy

The movie already has the main cast ready, Gunn the writer and director of the movie has cast David Corenswet as Clark Kent A.K.A Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, the actress is well-known for her role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The shoot of the movie will start in January 2024, and the movie will possibly hit the theaters in July 2025. The movie will set a new course for the DCU that James Gunn is building with the collaboration of the CEO of DC Studios Peter Safran.

All these three actors have major roles to play, Merced who is playing Hawkgirl will be accessorized with her favorite war gear melee weapons—swords, spears, and maces. Gathegi is known for his Vampire role in the Twilight movies and will be playing the role of skilled combat Michael Holt a.k.a Mister Terrific.

Lastly, Fillion is Gunn’s personal favorite as he was also part of the Director’s first movie a 2006 horror-comedy Slither, and even his latest project Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 will be joining forces with Gunn once again as one of the Green Lanterns Guy Gardner.
