Beyonce Expected to Release “Renaissance World Tour” Concert Film Through AMC Theatres, Say Reports

Beyonce fans who are eager to experience the Renaissance World Tour in a unique way are about to have their wish fulfilled before the year ends. According to numerous reports, the icon has decided to bring her universal tour to screen via AMC Theatres. 

According to a source, the chain of theatres will skip through the studios for easier and direct distribution, similar to the arrangements for Taylor Swift‘s upcoming concert movie, The Eras Tour. Swift, who solely took up the finance will receive more than half of the box office, is likely to release her film above $100 million in October.

Sources informed that Beyonce’s concert film will showcase footage from her highest-grossed 2023 live shows, unseen videos from the Renaissance album, and a documentary-style account of hitting the record and carrying out the tour. It is certain that the film will include elements similar to her heartfelt 2019 concert film, Homecoming, which made its debut on Netflix.

The project is targeting a Dec. 1 global release and is aimed to gross a margin of $560 million in ticket sales. The singer will supposedly announce the film during the tour’s concluding shows at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday.

Beyonce has been approached for confirmation. Fans have long awaited the tour’s theatrical release, like Homecoming, more so, because she turns on visuals of her shows and stars guest appearances from various artists. 

Lately, she teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion to gather fans at the first stage performance of their Grammy-winning song, Savage (Remix), amid the Renaissance World Tour stop in her hometown. Besides the H-Town Hottie, the Crazy in Love singer had support and cheers from her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Prior to that, the Break My Soul singer celebrated her 42nd birthday executing a three-night show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium during the long Labor Day weekend. The Saturday and Sunday concerts were full, but the show on Sept. 4, on the singer’s 42nd birthday was star-studded.

From the stage, Dianna Ross guided the crowd to sing wishes, “Happy Birthday” to the remarkable music artist, while Kendrick Lamar paid a surprise visit, to sing the America Has a Problem remix.

Beyonce‘s show captivated the audience which included the Kardashian-Jenners, Lizzo, Adele, Zendaya, Tom HollandChris Rock, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Vanessa Bryant, and Kelly Rowland, who provided her full support for all three performances.

It was also a memorable night for Lil Rel Howery who proposed to his girlfriend Dannella Lane and got engaged during the show. 

Kim Kardashian had an amazing night out with daughter North West, sister Khloe Kardashian, and niece Penelope Disick amid having to hospitalize Kourtney Kardashian for her pregnancy. The girls joined Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble at the show, uploading a photo with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet were also spotted by fans with superhuman eyesight, in the audience, highlighting the pair’s first outing together in the phase of their “low-key” love affair. Sister Kendall Jenner was also a part of the audience.
